Broadcast Rental Renews Vislink 5G Broadcast Fleet to Support Live Sports Production

Broadcast Rental has renewed and expanded its fleet of Vislink live production solutions, including a completely updated receive infrastructure designed to deliver greater operational flexibility and streamlined distribution to multiple broadcast and streaming platforms.

The refreshed deployment includes Vislink’s UltraLink-Air bonded cellular transmission systems, integrated with a new receive and management workflow built around LinkMatrix. The updated architecture enables Broadcast Rental to manage, control and distribute live feeds more efficiently across a wide range of production environments, from traditional broadcasters through to digital and OTT platforms.

The latest Vislink deployment further strengthens Broadcast Rental’s ability to support fast-moving Tier 1 sports productions, where rapid deployment, low latency and consistent video quality are essential, as is the ability to easily redeploy an existing workflow in multiple locations.

UltraLink-Air combines bonded 5G and cellular connectivity with low-latency HEVC video transmission, helping crews establish live links quickly without relying on fixed infrastructure. The systems are designed for rapid setup and redeployment, supporting roaming production teams operating across multiple venues and changing network conditions. Combined with LinkMatrix, Broadcast Rental can centrally manage connected devices and streamline feed distribution workflows to suit a variety of customer requirements.
